When to buy tickets
Swiss usually offers the cheapest tickets 3-5 months in advance. Swiss often offers good deals in combination with its subsidiary airline Edelweiss to holiday destinations.
If you are travelling during the summer holidays, Christmas or major festivals, it is worth buying your tickets as early as possible.
Fare classes
Swiss offers economy and business class on all aircraft. In addition, first class is also available on long-haul Airbus A330, Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
The individual classes are further divided into different fare groups, which differ in terms of ticket change or refund options, the number of baggage items included and other things.
For example, the cheapest Economy Light fare never includes any checked baggage.
