Albania in a nutshell

Albania

Albania (Albanian: Shqipëria) is located in the southwestern part of the Balkan Peninsula on the Adriatic and Ionian coasts. It is bordered by Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and, to the south, Greece.

Albania has long since lost its reputation as a dangerous tourist destination, but in reality it is a very interesting country offering beautiful mountains, beaches, remarkable archaeological sites and a culture that is unique in Europe.

The country's tourist facilities are still growing and new asphalt roads already lead to most of the tourist destinations. The seaside resorts are getting better services and Albania should definitely be on your "wish-list".
