Mirador del Morro de Agando

Mirador del Morro de Agando

Mirador del Morro de Agando is one of the most famous and most beautiful sights on the island of La Gomera.

From a small viewing platform located above the tree tops, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Los Roques rock formations, led by the largest rock called Morro del Agando.

In the background, the peak of Pico del Teide on the neighbouring island of Tenerife is always visible in good weather.

The viewpoint is most easily reached by car. A hiking trail leads from a small car park on the main road near the Mirrador de Tajaqué viewpoint (see map).

The path is less than 1 km long and the elevation gain is very low.

There is also a long-distance hiking trail around the Mirador del Morro de Agando, Hermigua - El Cedro - Pajarito - Alto de Garajonay - Igualero, which is about 11 km long and has bus stops at the end.
