Oman Air is a classic network airline offering connecting flights, mainly between Europe and the Middle East, Asia or Africa.
Although Oman Air is not part of any multinational alliance, it also works with other airlines, so it is possible to purchase a connecting flight with Oman Air and another airline on the same booking.
Tickets can be purchased on the official omanair.com website.
However, as Oman Air also competes with other airlines on many routes, we recommend that you first compare ticket prices e.g. via the flight meta-search engine skyscanner.com.

When to buy tickets
The lowest prices are usually between 2-4 months before departure.
However, you can often buy cheap airline tickets up to 6 months in advance.
If you are travelling during the summer holidays (July and August) or over Christmas and New Year, it pays to buy your tickets as far in advance as possible.
Fare classes
Oman Air offers economy and business class on its aircraft.
These two classes are further subdivided into different fares, which differ mainly in terms of cancellation or change conditions or the number of frequent flyer points you earn for a given flight.
An example of economy class fares is shown below.
