Oman Air, with its main base at Muscat Airport, is a fast-growing airline and often a more convenient alternative for connecting flights from Europe to Asia to major airlines such as Emirates or Qatar Airways. Muscat airport is smaller and more easily navigable than Dubai or Doha airports. The company operates a fleet of modern aircraft, mainly Airbus A330, Boeing 787 and 737.

Whether you’re flying with Oman Air for the first time or repeatedly, check out our handy tips and recommendations:
Is it normal that after buying and paying for a ticket, which appears completely normal in their manage booking system, the next day they write that the ticket is cancelled because one of the flights (Lufthansa flight from Prague to Munich) was sold out?
I suppose you don't book anything on them if it's cancelled more than 14 days before departure.
If it's 14 days or more, the airline has every right... Try buying it through Lufthansa if you're only flying to Oman. I don't think you can go any further than that. They're not the best, but I have more confidence in them than Oman Air. :D
Can't you write to them that you'll settle for another jump or a jump from somewhere else, or even do without the flight?
MJ: "full right" probably not, the "duty of care" under EU 261 applies to them too if it was ticketed (which it probably wasn't in this case)
If it was more than 14 days before departure, the carrier can simply cancel and rebook you on a completely different carrier without compensation.
Compensation would be due if it was a change 1h days or earlier to departure.
