Oman Air in a nutshell

Oman Air, with its main base at Muscat Airport, is a fast-growing airline and often a more convenient alternative for connecting flights from Europe to Asia to major airlines such as Emirates or Qatar Airways. Indeed, Muscat airport is smaller and more easily accessible than Dubai or Doha.
The company operates a fleet of modern aircraft, mainly Airbus A330, Boeing 787 and 737.

Does anyone have experience with their application please? I wanted to download it for an easier overview of flights and easier check in abroad. But the registration is through their frequent flyer program. Even though I filled everything in there, the flights didn't come up, ok, I enter manually by reservation number. Just that even though through the website I logged in, there app tells me wrong email or password.

My app worked in October 2024. I added flights via booking code - I am not a member of the sindbad loyalty program. Everything worked fine.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
And do you need to do check-in online? You can check in at the airport.
Is this a booking reference for Oman Air? Didn't you buy it through another carrier/broker?
Hello, I did everything from the official Oman Air website and they have already solved everything! They have sent me new tickets with modified schedules so that I have time to get to the one they have brought forward; now I can also manage the booking from the app!!!
Thanks to all of you
No, bought directly through Oman air. I even signed up for their frequent flyer program because of it. I wanted the app for clarity, it's usually better than dealing with the website on mobile. It's nothing major, I was just puzzled by it, I'm used to every airline I fly with having it fed through the app as well.

And did you reinstall it? It may just be a short-term technical error.
As I wrote earlier, it worked fine for me a few weeks ago.
Is it normal that after buying and paying for a ticket, which appears completely normal in their manage booking system, the next day they write that the ticket is cancelled because one of the flights (Lufthansa flight from Prague to Munich) was sold out?
I suppose you don't book anything on them if it's cancelled more than 14 days before departure.

If it's 14 days or more, the airline has every right... Try buying it through Lufthansa if you're only flying to Oman. I don't think you can go any further than that. They're not the best, but I have more confidence in them than Oman Air. :D
Can't you write to them that you'll settle for another jump or a jump from somewhere else, or even do without the flight?
MJ: "full right" probably not, the "duty of care" under EU 261 applies to them too if it was ticketed (which it probably wasn't in this case)

If it was more than 14 days before departure, the carrier can simply cancel and rebook you on a completely different carrier without compensation.
Compensation would be due if it was a change 1h days or earlier to departure.
Hello, I don't know if anyone can help me.
I bought a ticket from Spain - Philippines from Oman Air (first flight operated by Lufthansa to Germany) and it turns out that they have brought forward the second flight (operated by Oman Air and they have sent me Whatsapp and email) so I have called to try to change the first one so I don't lose it. However, when I called Lufthansa they told me that the "Oman Air tickets are not issued", but I have my confirmation emails and e-tickets. However, when I put "booking reference" and my details to manage the booking from their website, it does not appear.... I don't really understand what is the reason if apart from having the confirmation emails they have contacted me for the details of the time change? If someone could help me
Thanks
You have to call where the tickets were bought, so if they were bought with Oman Air you have to call them, if with some other portal like pelikan expedia you have to call them, not Lufthansa and they should sort it out.....
We also flew with this crazy combination but from Prague, Lufthansa cancelled the flight and postponed it to the next day with Qatar, we forfeited our connecting tickets in Manila, no agreement with Lufthansa at the Prague airport, they paid the hotel and didn't care, we flew the next day, no compensation, supposedly weather (other airlines were flying). Oman air is a terrible company especially for flights in Asia. Best to cancel when you can. Freebies are expensive. Since then long haul flights from Vienna and never Lufthansa. The flight from Manila was not on the same ticket, but I left more than 24 hours for the connection I also forfeited a night in a hotel in Manila.
Almost every airline has different excuses when it comes to compensation. Last time it happened to me with Turkish Airlines. After just the second email they sent the miles (the first was an excuse). So I will send a third one and hopefully the money will be there. The carrier needs to be pressured. Alternatively, take it higher up if you don't know how to handle it.
But unless the Manila flights were on one Lufthansa ticket, they were not connecting flights. So Lufthansa had nothing to do with them. If they were on the same ticket, they couldn't have been forfeited.
Otherwise, I have flown Oman Air 5 times and always satisfied. One flight was below average, but otherwise we were very satisfied.
The flights appear (including the lufthansa flights) in the Oman Air app by entering the "booking reference" and my details; the problem is that when I click on "manage my booking" it tells me that there is an error retrieving the tickets or something like that... The thing is that I bought everything from the official Oman Air website but the flight from Spain to Germany is operated by Lufthansa; in the electronic tickets and everything, the flights appear together. As I have brought forward the flight from Germany, I need them to bring forward the one from Spain to Germany and for that I have to contact Oman as I paid and managed everything with them, as I understand?
The problem is that when I click on manage my booking and I get an error, I'm afraid that the flights suddenly don't exist or I don't know if any of you have experienced that....
Thank you!!!!
Yes, contact Oman Air. Good luck!
If you can see all your flights in the booking management of Oman Air, then everything is fine. And if you can't get to the booking details because of a subsequent error, it's probably an internal bug in the app. This is quite common. Try again later, or use the mobile/web app. If unsuccessful, contact Oman Air as written above.
