All Nippon Airways check-in

ANA Boeing 787

You can check in for your All Nippon Airways flight for free at the airport counter, but you can also check in more quickly via kiosks or from the comfort of your home via computer or phone.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the airport counter is free.

Check-in counters at international airports open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

At Narita, Haneda and Kansai airports, you can check in all day for any departure, so for example, you can check in at 7:00 in the morning for a 22:00 departure.

For first morning departures from Japanese airports, check-in counters often open only 90 minutes before departure.

If you start your journey at a Japanese airport with a domestic flight and then connect to an international flight in Tokyo or Osaka, check in at the "International Check-in" at the first airport.

If, on the other hand, you arrive in Japan on an international flight and continue on a domestic flight, you will need to collect your baggage in Tokyo or Osaka and check it in at the special check-in counters for connecting flights after you leave the transit area.

Self-check-in kiosks

At many airports, especially in Japan, you can check in much faster at a kiosk where you can print out your boarding pass and baggage tag after scanning your passport or entering your reservation number. You place this on your checked baggage yourself and hand it in at the next self-service counter.

Online check-in

The earliest you cancheck-in online is 24 hours before departure. For details, visit the airline's website: ana.co.jp/online-check-in.

You can either print your boarding pass or have it sent to your mobile phone and just scan the barcode at the airport. If you're travelling with luggage, you can drop it off at the drop-off or self-check-in counter.

Selecting a seat (seating)

You can choose your seat on the aircraft free of charge when you buy your ticket and during online check-in on all routes.
