All Nippon Airways baggage

ANA Boeing 787

All fares usually include at least 1 piece of checked baggage up to 23 kg and always 1 piece of standard cabin baggage plus one small personal item.

Exceptionally, however, there may be situations where the cheapest Super Value fare does not include checked baggage, especially if your ticket includes a combination of airlines.

Hand luggage

You can take on board 1 piece of cabin baggage measuring 55 x 45 x 25 cm free of charge.

For domestic flights operated by DH8/DH2 turboprop aircraft (indicated on the ticket), the maximum dimensions are reduced to 45 x 35 x 20 cm.

In addition to your hand luggage, you may take one of the following personal items with you:

  • Laptop bag
  • Blanket, coat
  • Umbrella or walking stick
  • Camera

The total weight of both pieces of luggage must not exceed 10 kg.

Checked baggage

The number and weight of checked-in baggage depends on the fare and route purchased.

  • Economy class - free baggage up to 23 kg
    • Flights to North America, Asia, Australia on the lowest "Light" or "Value" fare - 1 piece of baggage
    • Flights to Europe and domestic routes within Japan - usually 2 pieces of luggage
  • Premium Economy Class - 2 pieces of luggage of 23 kg each free of charge
  • Business class - 2 pieces of luggage of 32 kg each free of charge
  • First Class "THE Suite" - 3 free bags of 32 kg each

The total sum of baggage dimensions must be up to 158 cm.

Luggage for children

Children under 2 years of age travelling on an adult's lap may check in 1 piece of checked baggage in the same weight category as the accompanying adult's ticket.

In addition, you can always take a stroller with you free of charge.
