This unusual piece of nature, protected since 1985, is located in the north of the island near Alcúdia and Muro beach. The wetlands here create a refuge for hundreds of bird species and slightly more botanical species. It is a permanently flooded area with 2 lakes and several streams and canals, part of the so-called RAMASAR, which are wetlands of international importance.
