S'Albufera Nature Park

S'albufera

This unusual piece of nature, protected since 1985, is located in the north of the island near Alcúdia and Muro beach. The wetlands here create a refuge for hundreds of bird species and slightly more botanical species. It is a permanently flooded area with 2 lakes and several streams and canals, part of the so-called RAMASAR, which are wetlands of international importance.

The 10 best hotels in Mallorca

The best way to enjoy this natural park is by bike (easily accessible from Port d' Alcúdia). But the park is also crisscrossed with walking trails, which are shown, for example, on en.apy.cz.

The nearest bus stop is "S'Albufera", about 100 metres away, which is crossed by the busy lines 302 and 322.
