In the easternmost part of the island, you'll find one of the most beautiful - and, according to many, the most beautiful - beaches in Mallorca. In the tiny resort of Cala Mesquida, a gentle cove opens up to a beautiful and clean sandy beach with natural surroundings and divine scenery of the gently hilly coastline.
The water in the sea is crystal clear and with a relatively gentle entrance, so swimming here is suitable even for children.
Even in the peak season, Cala Mesquida beach won't be crowded, but it still offers all the necessary amenities, from sunbed and umbrella hire to a decent range of water activities to beach bars and restaurants.

There are several holiday homes and apartments right in Cala Mesquida, with prices starting at 110 eur per night. You'll find a significantly larger range of hotels and other accommodation in the larger resort of Cala Ratjada, 8km away. Prices here start at around 73 eur per night.

How to get there?
The best way to get here is by rental car. From Palma, you can travel 80 km to the other end of the island in about an hour and a quarter. There is plenty of free parking in Cala Mesquida.
The nearest major resort is Cala Ratjada, 8 km away, where minibus line 422(timetable) runs in the summer season.
