Tourist base and beautiful centre

Vallehermoso is also a welcome base for tourists. Here you will find many private apartments, SPAR and Suma supermarkets, many restaurants and cafes, a post office and banks.

Although the town centre is really small and consists of only two streets, it is definitely worth a visit just to walk around the town.

The colourful houses and well kept streets are pleasing to the eye, as is the beautiful church of San Juan Bautista.

Tourism and beaches

Vallehermoso is one of the most important crossroads of hiking routes.

For short trips, a popular route is to the nearby Roque Cano rock or the Encantadora Dam.

About 3.5 km north of the town centre is Vallehermoso beach, with its large volcanic rocks, but also with pools where you can swim safely.

The beach can only be reached by car or on foot.
