One of the most famous and beautiful viewing terraces is located in the village of Arure in the upper reaches of the Valle Gran Rey.
The village of Arure is separated from the views of the west coast by a rocky massif, through which you pass under the aqueduct to the Mirador de El Santo viewpoint.
The 10 best accommodations in Gomera
From here you'll have incredible views of the Taguluche Valley and other cliffs all along the west coast.
In the background you can see the Atlantic Ocean and the distant island of La Palma.
The viewpoint is less than 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Arure.
You can park your car conveniently at the end of the asphalt road where one of the most famous hiking trails along the cliff edge between Valle Gran Rey and the west coast begins (parking location on the map).
