Poble Espanyol

Poble Espanyol is an open-air architectural museum built in 1929 for the EXPO.

The small village presents typical examples of architectural styles from all over Spain.

Discover Spain in a few streets

You can walk the entire village of Poble Espanyol in 10 minutes, as long as you don't stop anywhere. In real life, however, it will definitely take you at least 1 hour.

The area is divided into several sections, featuring the different architectural styles of each Spanish region:

Museums, restaurants and handicraft demonstrations

A variety of attractions are accessible within the entrance fee in many houses.

In the main square you can refresh yourself in several restaurants and in the side streets you can visit various demonstrations of traditional crafts.

There is also a small contemporary art museum in Poble Espanyol.

Entrance fees and opening hours

The museum is open every day from 10:00-20:00 and even until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

How to get there

The nearest metro stations of lines L1, L3 and L8 Placa d'Espanya are located about 500 metres from Poble Espanyol.

There is also a bus stop for bus lines 13, 23 and 150 right outside the entrance.
