Beloved amongst locals, Birmingham's main symbol can be found rampaging through the main concourse of Birmingham New Street station on the hour.
Ozzy the Bull, a gigantic mechanical sculpture, comes to life for roughly 5 minutes every quarter of an hour, giving the impression of a raging bull.
Where did Ozzy the Bull come from?
The 33ft (over 10m) tall mechanical raging bull was first unveiled in 2022 at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony.
The bull has been a traditional symbol of Birmingham since medieval times, when bull slaughters were held on the site of the current Bullring shopping district.
However, the statue became so popular that it was permanently placed at B'ham New Street station after the Commonwealth Games.
The name "Ozzy" was given to the bull after a nationwide internet poll.
When does the bull rage?
Every hour, the bull's head and tail are set in motion, his eyes light up and he roars several times over the loudspeakers.
The bull moves once every hour from 8:15am to 7:15pm.
The statue of the bull can be moved around, and on various important occasions and city festivals, Ozzy can be seen elsewhere on the streets of Birmingham.
