March is still a dry season, with rainfall still rather unlikely, but the approaching rainy season is signalled by rising air temperatures. Expect an average temperature of around 32°C and increasing humidity.

April is a transitional month between the dry and rainy seasons. On average, 132 mm of rain falls during the month and average daily temperatures reach 33 °C. April is also the hottest month of the year.

When travelling to Phu Quoc in May, you'll need to allow for the occasional rainfall, with an average of 188mm falling in a month. You will also face high air temperatures, high humidity and the warmest sea temperature of the whole year.

The hot season eases off a little as summer approaches, but rainfall still increases. In June, the average daily temperature is 31 °C and the average rainfall is 243 mm per month.
