The dominant feature of downtown Da Nang is undoubtedly the unique dragon bridge that leads over the Han River. The huge dragon structure across the bridge was only completed in 2009. But the real experience will be in the evening, when the dragon regularly spews fire and water from its magnificent maw.
You can easily cross the bridge on foot, the best views of the bridge are from the little square on the right bank of the river north of the bridge. This is also a good place to watch the evening shows, although you can stand right on the bridge, but expect to get pretty warm.
When are the evening shows?
Officially, the fire and water show takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 21:00 and lasts approximately 15 minutes.
However, from our own experience, we can say that on some days the show also takes place on weekdays, but unfortunately it is not possible to find a specific schedule on the internet, it is best to ask at the reception of your accommodation.

Within the city centre, the Dragon Bridge is easily reached on foot. In case you live further away, you can use public transport:
