Kualoa Ranch is a private nature preserve and one of the most beautiful places on Oahu.

It is situated in a beautiful secluded spot on the northeastern coast between the 3 deep and wide valleys of Ka'a'awa Valley, Kualoa Valley and Hakipu'u Valley, in places with an almost untouched landscape of high green mountains, pastures and meadows with grazing cattle and divine views of the Pacific Ocean.

The cheapest accommodation on Oahu

In addition to tourists, the beautiful unspoiled nature has attracted many filmmakers.

The hills and valleys of Kulaoa Ranch have been the setting for more than 80 movies and TV shows, including the most famous ones: Jurassic Park, 50 Times and Still the First Time, Pearl Harbor, Godzilla, Lost and Hawaii Five-0.

Activities and tours - prices and admission

Kualoa Nature Reserve is a private nature reserve and therefore all valleys must be entered through the Kualoa Ranch Visitor Center.

While admission to the preserve itself is free, it is so large that it takes half a day of hiking just to reach the most beautiful parts of the ranch from the main entrance.

Kualoa Ranch does, however, offer a number of different tours and activities. Enjoy a guided tour of movie locations, visit a valley with faux dinosaur skeletal remains, view the divine Hawaiian wildlife from horseback, or kayak along the coast.

The cheapest activities start at about 50 usd, while the most expensive ones climb to 150 usd. We always recommend booking in advance online exclusively through the official kulaoa.com website.

Tip.
