Kahana Valley

Just about 2 kilometres from the famous Kualoa Ranch Private Reserve, you can visit the equally beautiful Kahana State Reserve with its wide green Kahana Valley lined with steep hills offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Unlike Kualoa Ranch, it's rare to encounter tourists here.

The Kahana Valley is a paradise for lovers of moderate to challenging treks in the wilderness. Several more or less marked hiking trails start at the main road, just follow the beaten track. You can hike up the ridge trails for some of the best views on Oahu or take the less strenuous trails through the valley with its green meadows and forests.
