The Palmetum Botanical Garden boasts the largest collection of palm trees in Europe.

Here you will find over 2,000 trees of more than 500 different palm trees from all over the world. You can walk through the entire garden in about 30-45 minutes.

Entrance fees and opening hours

The Palmetum is open every day throughout the year from 10:00-18:00. However, the last entry is possible at 17:00.

Entrance costs 6 eur.

How to get there

The Palmetum is located on the southern edge of the centre and there is a large free car park right next to the botanical gardens.

The nearest public transport stop is just "Intercambiador", where all the bus lines going to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and tram line 1 meet.
