Paguera (often referred to as Peguera) is a popular resort among Czech travel agents, situated in a picturesque area of rugged coastline full of coves in the southeast of Mallorca. Paguera is easily accessible by motorway from Palma, which is about 30 km away.

The resort is one of the quieter places, but that doesn't mean you won't have fun here. The town centre is alive long into the night and offers entertainment for all types of travellers.

Beaches and swimming

The coastal area around Paguera boasts several nice town beaches with beautiful views of the rugged coastline. Most of the beaches are covered in fine white sand and are fully equipped with sunbed and umbrella hire (around 14 eur per set per day) and various water activities and sports.

Directly in Paguera you will find the main beach of Palmira and the secondary beach of Gran de Tora. Other nice beaches can be found in the resort of Santa Ponca, 2.5 km away, where a coastal footpath leads.

There are also beautiful mini reefs between Paguera and Santa Ponca, which are good for snorkelling.

Accommodation

Paguera is one of the cheapest resorts in Mallorca. It is dominated by smaller hotels and more intimate resorts, where in high season the price per night in a double room starts at around 66 eur, and in low season at 55 eur.

How to get there?

As mentioned above, the most convenient way to get there is by car from Palma on the Ma-1 highway, a journey that can be made in 30 minutes. If you don't rent a car, there are regular bus lines 102 from Palma to Paguera and the A11 express bus directly from the airport.
