There are regular direct flights to Lanzarote from most countries in Western, Southern and Central Europe.
There are no direct flights to America and you have to buy tickets with a connection, typically via Madrid, Lisbon or London.
Ideally, buy your tickets to Lanzarote 3 to 4 months in advance for the lowest price if you are flying in the summer season. During the winter, tickets can be bought cheaply with low-cost airlines even a few weeks before departure.

There are very frequent flights from Lanzarote to all the surrounding Canary Islands, most frequently to Gran Canaria, where there are several flights a day.
All inter-island flights are operated by the smaller airlines Binter Canarias and Canary Fly. Prices for one-way tickets range between 30 eur and 50 eur.
By ferry
If you decide to travel around more than one of the Canary Islands, in addition to air travel, you can also take advantage of boat transport.
This is particularly convenient to the nearest Fuerteventura, where there are no direct flights.
Lanzarote - Fuerteventura ferry
Regular ferries run between Playa Blanca and Corralejo, the journey is very short and takes about 35 minutes.
Boats between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura run 2-3 times an hour and the cheapest tickets from 17,50 eur are offered by Lineas Romero.
Ferry Lanzarote - Gran Canaria
Direct services to Gran Canaria are operated by Naviera Armas from the port of Arrecife at prices around 90 eur, the sailing time is 6 hours.
The other islands can only be reached by changing at Gran Canaria or Fuerteventura.
Lanzarote - Spanish mainland ferry
Lanzarote is also served by ferries from the mainland, making it accessible for those who don't want to fly.
A regular boat service is operated by Naviera Armas on the Arrecife - Cadiz route, which runs once a week and takes over 36 hours to sail. A one-way ticket costs about 180 eur.
