Immigration Museum

Australia is a country largely built on immigration, and the vast majority of the current population is made up of descendants and ancestors of immigrants from Europe and Asia.
This is one of the reasons why the Museum of Immigration in Melbourne is one of the most important museums in the city.
What will you see at the museum?
The museum is housed in a large two-storey building and is divided into several sections.
The main section tells the stories of the people who moved to Melbourne, why and how they came to the city.
However, a significant part of the museum is dedicated to the overall history of immigration to Australia.
Entrance fees and opening hours
The adult ticket price is 15 aud.
You can buy your ticket online or at the door for the same price, and long queues don't usually form.
