St. Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is the main sanctuary of the Church of England in the state of Victoria and is one of Melbourne's most significant historical landmarks.
The church is built in the Neo-Gothic style and opened in 1891, but the towers were not completed until 1932.

The Cathedral is right in the heart of Melbourne at Federation Square, opposite Flinders Street station and close to the promenades along the Yarra River.
It's definitely worth a visit to the interior of the cathedral, which charms with its contrasting colours, beautiful wooden ceiling and colour scheme partly inspired by Italian Pisan Gothic-Renaissance architecture.
The interior of the cathedral can be reminiscent of the famous Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, Italy.
