Fireballs from 8 towers

Along the entire Crown Casino grounds, 8 towers stand at roughly 20-metre intervals, each 10 metres high.

Fireballs between 0.5 metres and 3.5 metres in diameter shoot from gas burners into the sky in a precise choreography controlled by computer.

The best view of the fire show is from either the waterfront or the King Street Bridge.

When does the fire show take place?

The gas towers are active once an hour every evening, always at XX:00. The entire show lasts 5-8 minutes.

  • December to February - first show at 21:00
  • March, October, November - first show at 20:00
  • April to September - first show at 18:00

The last show is always at midnight or 1:00 am Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday and before every public holiday.

The gas fire show is not held on days when open fires are prohibited in the State of Victoria due to extreme fire risks.
