Erskine Falls

Explore the unspoilt nature of the inland Otways and take a road-trip along the Great Ocean Road from Lorne town and drive about 10km into the heart of the dense forests.
Although the Otways National Park is full of waterfalls, Erskine Falls stands out among them all with its height of over 30 metres.
A minor tarmac road leads to the falls, well signposted from the centre of Lorne. Just off the car park is the top viewpoint and if you walk down the 230 steps, you can see the falls in all their glory from the lower viewpoint.
In addition, you can walk along the beautiful trail along the Erskine River.
If you are staying in Lorne, you can walk to the falls right along the Erskine River Valley on a well-trodden path. The distance there and back is 16 km in total, making it a day trip (see route map).
