Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport in a nutshell

Addisutjipto - Terminal

The small regional airport Adisutjipto (sometimes spelled Adisucipto), named after the famous pilot who operated between 1944 and 1947, is located on the northeastern outskirts of Yogyakarta.

The city centre is about 10 km away and the famous Prambanan Temple is located 7 km from the airport.

Until 2020, it was one of the busiest international airports on the island of Java, but since that year almost all flights have been moved to the newly built modern airport Yogyakarta-International YIA.

Currently, only Citilink flies to Adisutjipto airport, and it flies 3-4 times a day from the smaller Jakarta airport Halim HLP.
