Salalah SLL International Airport is located approximately 5 km from the eponymous town of Salalah on the coast in the Dhofar Governorate.
The newly opened airport will offer a modern terminal built in 2015. The airport is rated 5* in the regional airport ratings.
Salalah Airport serves domestic flights from Muscat MCT and international flights from Middle Eastern airports such as Doha DOH, Abu Dhabi AUH and Sharjah SHJ.
The main traffic, however, is charter flights with travellers heading for holidays to Salalah.
