Even though it is a relatively small and regional airport, it offers travellers the essentials from cafes, shops, duty-free to airport lounges and smoking rooms.

Internet and wi-fi

Wi-fi is available throughout the airport building free of charge. Registration via phone number is required, or if you don't receive a verification code, a machine is available at the departures before the check-in desks to print out a password.

You can buy physical SIM cards to connect to the internet during your trip, for example at the Vodafone stand.

Duty-free and shops

Duty-free shops can be found both on departure in the main terminal and after arrival at the baggage belts.

At departures, you'll find countless options for buying alcohol, cigarettes, perfumes, cosmetics or even toys and, of course, sweets including dates. The prices are lower than those found in hotel shops.

The offer at the arrivals is mainly focused on cigarettes and alcohol.

A small shop offering basic food and drinks is in the public area in front of the check-in desks.

Currency exchange and ATMs

You will find a money changer both upon arrival at the baggage claim and at the exit to the public area.

If you prefer to withdraw cash, an ATM can be found in the departures section of the terminal.

Baggage packing

You will find a kiosk where you can have your luggage wrapped in security and protective film immediately outside the departures desk, next to the Kaldi café.

The price for wrapping your luggage depends on the size:

• normal for 2 omr
• large for OMR 2.5
• extra large for OMR 3

Children's corner and playroom

A small children's play area designed for the youngest children can be found in the departure gate 3B terminal.

PlayStation games consoles and a table football are available for bigger kids, on the other side of the terminal by departure gate 1B.

Smoking rooms

A designated smoking area is available behind security. Follow the signs Smoking Room.

Cafés and restaurants

There are several cafes and a Subway fast food restaurant located centrally in the terminal behind security next to the duty-free shop.

Lounge

The airport has a single airport lounge, Al Khareef, for both domestic and international passengers.
