One of the largest football stadiums in Portugal, the architecturally interesting Estádio do Dragão, with a capacity of 51,000 spectators, is located in the eastern part of Porto, near the A, B and F fast tram lines.

The Dragão Stadium was built for the Euro 2004 football championship. It is currently the home stadium for FC Porto.
Tour of the stadium
Within the stadium you can visit a small museum tracing the complete history of FC Porto. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00-21:00, and on Mondays only from 14:30-19:00.
Entrance to the museum costs 12 eur.
If you pay just 3 eur, you can also walk around the stadium without a guide. Some parts of the stands and cabins are accessible. These tours start every full hour from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Mondays only from 3:00 pm.

Directly below the stadium is the "Estádio do Dragão" rapid transit tram station, where lines A, B and F stop.
