A pleasant beach on the south side of the smaller of the islands. The beach is very accessible from Fisherman Village. It is ideal for relaxing or swimming, but snorkeling here is not very good because the corals are already bleached and dead.

Petani Beach is not one of the most stunning beaches on the islands. But it still offers nice swimming and a soft sandy strip that is lined with palm trees.

There is minimal infrastructure on the beach, and you can eat at one of the resorts, which also have cooking facilities.

Accommodation at Petani Beach

There are several hotels on Petani Beach, as well as various cottages that you can rent cheaply from the locals.

Also worth mentioning is the beautiful and very comfortable Alunan Resort ****.

Transportation to Petani Beach

You can take a small boat to Petani Beach, or walk directly from Fisherman Village. There is also a trail leading here from Coral Bay, but it is currently in very poor condition.
