The liveliest and most popular beach in the whole archipelago. This is Long Beach, a wide stretch of white sand lined with luxury hotels, beach bars and restaurants. This beautiful beach is a good base for exploring the islands if you like nightlife and a fun, party atmosphere.

While in the evening the beach turns into one big party with fire shows and overflowing plates of seafood, during the day it's one of the best beaches on the island to stretch out on a towel and simply relax.

Beach and swimming

Although Long Beach is renowned as a popular destination for nightlife lovers, it's also a great choice for a beach holiday. The beach is wide, covered in fine golden sand and the waters are a beautiful azure blue.

Many of the restaurants on the beach offer sunbeds and umbrellas included in the price, or you can rent an umbrella and sunbed for the whole day from 10 myr.

The beach is also one of the few that is suitable for snorkeling right off the beach. Especially at the northern end of the beach you will find beautiful coral reefs and you will be able to swim with schools of colourful fish.

Accommodation on Long Beach

Of all the beaches on the island, Long Beach offers the largest number of hotels and other accommodation facilities. If you want a quieter stay, book accommodation in the northern part of the beach.

For budget accommodation, we'd single out the Oceanboys Inn, where you can get a room from 300 myr per night.

A highly rated luxury resort BuBu Villa**** on the southern end of the beach.

Transportation to Long Beach

Long Beach is easy to get to by boat, the beach has its own pier.

It's connected by footpaths to Coral Bay on the other side of the island and Fishermans Village.
