Today, the shopping centre is dominated by the 10 Corso Como department store, where you can find selected collections of international designers as well as lesser-known brands. On the 1st floor there is a bookstore with a wide selection of art and design books. The store is accessed through a sunny courtyard, which in turn houses 10 Corso Como Outlet at the back.
The 10 Corso Como Outlet is a popular place to shop for really cheap fashion pieces from collections from years past, as well as the most expensive contemporary brands.
A class full of restaurants
Although Corso Como, with its length of just under 200 metres, is not one of the longest pedestrian zones in the world, it is definitely the centre of Milan's nightlife. Dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés operate here from the early hours of the morning, when you can grab an espresso and a sweet breakfast, until the bars close again in the early hours of the morning.
Corso Como also loosely continues into the longer Corso Garibaldi, which runs south towards the centre and is also full of bars, restaurants and shops.
How to get to Corso Como?
The avenue starts at one of Milan's main transport hubs, Porta Garibaldi station, which can be reached by metro lines M2 and M5 or trams 10 and 33. The southern part, extended by Corso Garibaldi, has the Moscova metro station, where the M2 line passes.
