The Church of Santa Maria Novella is considered, together with the Church of Santa Croce, the most beautiful in Florence. The 1420 seat of the Dominicans boasts a famous wooden crucifix by Brunelleschi, one of his few sculptural works.

The church is open to the public every day, at the following times:

  • Monday-Thursday + Saturday: 9:00-17:30.
  • Friday: 11:00-17:30
  • Sunday: 13:00-17:30

  • Adult - 7,50 eur
  • Children 11-17 years and students with ISIC card: 5 eur
