What to see at the zoo?
Yogyakarta Zoo keeps approximately 470 animals.
Among the most attractive species are the Komodo warthog, orangutans, gibbons, saltwater crocodiles, leopards and especially the native Indonesian tigers.
However, you will also find African animals in the zoo.
Visitors will enjoy the relaxation area with restaurants along the artificial lake.
