Possidi, in short, will be the ideal place for lovers of tranquillity away from the big resorts and beautiful beaches without the crowds. In the small village you will find a few tavernas and stalls selling snacks or souvenirs, as well as a small grocery store.

Cape Possidi: the sea on three sides

The resort is situated on a pointed promontory about 2 km long and no more than 1.5 km wide, which is bordered on three sides by long beaches. These converge into a narrow spit at a place called Cape Possidi, where you can swim but also find excellent conditions for kitesurfing.

Look forward to fine white to golden sand interspersed with the occasional pebble, but it won't be unpleasant.

The south side of Kassandra's coastline is windier and therefore there are bigger waves ideal for kitesurfing, but also for surfing beginners. However, you can also swim here without any problems and the waves are not dangerous.

The western and the very eastern part of the beach in the village of Possidi are equipped with sun loungers as well as several bars or tavernas. The southern tip of the cape is purely natural.
