Chalkidiki in a nutshell

Chalkidiki

The Greek peninsula of Halkidiki is one of the holiday classics. The local resorts here operated at a time when tourism on the Greek islands was only slowly developing. Thanks to its easy accessibility - you can easily get here by car without having to take a ferry - Halkidiki is still popular today.

Even looking at a map, you can see that the region will be extremely diverse. From the main peninsula there are three other narrow peninsulas, giving the whole area the shape of Poseidon's trident.
