Nessebar's northern beach is much more natural than the larger southern beach and is located between Novi Nessebar and Sunny Beach.
The beach is covered with fine sand and the entrance to the water is very gradual and comfortable. The beach is therefore safe even for the smallest children.
Practically the entire length of the beach is lined with nice sand dunes covered with sparse grass.
Beach facilities
Although the beach is located outside the town centre, there are various amenities here as well.
Sun loungers and umbrellas
Sun loungers and parasols are available along the entire length of the beach and can be rented for 10 bgn / piece / day. So for a set of two sunbeds and a parasol you will pay 30 bgn.
There are always plenty of sunbeds available, even in high season. Just take any available sun lounger and the staff will look for you. Payment is in cash only.
The staff is present from 8:00 to 18:00, but the sun loungers remain free to use all night from 18:00 to 8:00.
Free sectors
Compared to the beaches on Sunny Beach, there are significantly more rent-free sectors where you can set up your own equipment or just sunbathe without paying a fee.
Toilets and showers
There are no public toilets on the beach, but you can use the toilets in the restaurants, some of which make them available even if you don't order anything from the restaurant.
Freshwater showers are not usually available, especially as most hotels are within a 10-minute walk of the beach.
Restaurants and shops
The beach is out of town, and you'll find the larger restaurants, bistros and souvenir shops mainly at the southern end.
Hotels by the beach
We recommend staying near the north beach if you're looking for a quieter location.
- Paradiso Dreams Hotel **** - The best hotel in Nessebar with a sea view
- Oasis Beach Studios - fully equipped apartments directly surrounded by the beach literally just a few steps from the sea
