The largest and most important monument of Burgas is the church dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius. The church is included in the list of "100 most important monuments of Bulgaria".
The building is often called a cathedral because of its appearance, although it does not have this status because the seat of the diocese is in the town of Sliven.
