The central Troykata Square lies in the middle of the pedestrianised Aleksandrovska Street and is dominated by the monument of the Unknown Soldier.
These monuments are generally referred to as "Alyosha" in Bulgaria and the same is true in Burgas.

The Alyosha Monument was erected in 1953 in memory of the victims of the Second World War. On top of the pylon stands a Soviet soldier with his left arm raised, and the entire monument measures 18 metres.
A large fountain fills the centre of the square, which in summer cools the large open area of the square pleasantly.
Around the perimeter of the square are buildings from the 1960s that host the regional court or the house of culture.
