Hiroshima Airport uses a single small and uncluttered terminal.
The larger section on the left (as viewed from the outside) is dedicated to domestic flights within Japan and the section on the right is dedicated to international flights.
Arrivals are always on the ground floor, while check-in desks and pre-departure security are located on the 1st floor.
Find a hotel near Hiroshima Airport
Orientation at the airport is very easy, and once you arrive, it will take about 10 minutes (for domestic flights) or 30-40 minutes (for international flights including immigration control) to get to a bus or taxi.
Transfer between flights
Hiroshima Airport is not a transfer hub and therefore does not have direct transfer options.
If you make a transfer on your own in Hiroshima, you must always collect your luggage, exit the transit area and check in again.
Hotels near the terminal
If you want to stay near the terminal before your early morning flight, there are two hotels to choose from.
Both hotels are about a 5-10 minute walk from the airport, or both hotels offer a free shuttle to the terminal.
