If you are heading to Hiroshima from another Japanese airport, it is ideal to withdraw your money before departure, for example at Haneda Airport.

If you are arriving from abroad, you can withdraw your money in Hiroshima city centre. You can pay for buses and taxis from the airport to the city centre by card, see the Transport section.

Luggage storage

On the 2nd floor (departures) you can use the automatic luggage lockers. You can pay by card or cash and the price ranges from 300 jpy to 500 jpy depending on the size of your luggage.

Shops and supermarket

In the arrivals hall, you can buy cheap snacks at the Yamazaki Shop mini-market, which is open daily 8am-10pm.

Other shops can be found in the departures area after passing through security, and are mostly souvenir shops or duty free goods.

The pharmacy at Hiroshima Airport is not open.

A list of all shops can be found on the airport's website at hij.airport.jp/shopping.

Dining options

Most restaurants and cafes are located after security in the departures area.

Restaurants serving Japanese cuisine and small local cafes are available.
