Hi,I have uninsured return tickets including seats with Turkish airlines.I need to rebook my tickets and seats.I have read that the difference is paid for the more expensive tickets and the cheaper ones are not refunded. How do I do it if I have a registration with airolines (classic account with Turk) and I find my tickets? And how do I go on?And do I have to pay for the seats there and back again?Thank you.
It depends on what fare you bought, some (usually the cheapest fares) are non-rebookable. If there is a change option, there is usually a change fee (a fixed amount) on top of the difference to the price of the ticket for the new date. I don't know how much it is with Turkish, I dealt with Korean Air recently and there was a 250 EUR per person/ticket (+ surcharge on the price of the new one). Paid seats are always tied to a specific flight, so pay again. But I think they might just refund the seat fee for the original flight you didn't fly. Otherwise, I'd try online, find your reservation and try "manage booking" to see if there's an option to "rebook/change my flight" - if that works, it should offer you the new flights with the price and surcharge. Otherwise, I would probably take it up with TK over the phone
