Check-in at the airport

Emirates airlines allow you to check in at the airport without a fee.

Check-in desks open 3-4 hours before departure as standard. At Dubai Airport, check-in is available up to 8 hours before departure.

The latest check-in time is normally 50 minutes before departure.

Online check-in

Online check-in is normally available 48 hours - 90 minutes before departure.

You can check-in online at emirates.com/online-check-in or via the Emirates mobile app.

If you can't check in online, you can check in at the airport without any problems.

Seat selection (seating)

With a Special or Saver fare, you will pay a fee to select a specific seat. This varies according to the length of the route and ranges between 15 usd and 45 usd.

If you do not want to pay for a specific seat, you will be allocated a random seat for free.

On the more expensive Economy, Business or First fares you can choose a specific seat for free.
