The bridge connects the city's former Japanese quarter with the Chinese one. It dates back to the late 16th century and still retains its original Japanese ornaments and decorations.

Any visitor to the city can see the Japanese Covered Bridge from the outside. To explore the bridge more thoroughly, you need a ticket to the Hoi An Historical Centre, which costs 120 000 vnd. Children are free.

The Japanese Covered Bridge is open every day, opening hours may vary throughout the year. We recommend visiting the bridge early in the morning when it is the least crowded.
