Camden's city centre is actually surrounded by several marketplaces, closely linked to each other. Each one offers slightly different goods and a different atmosphere.

The markets are open every day, usually from 10am until late in the evening.

  • Camden Lock Market - specialises in small craft items, but there are also stalls selling books, jewellery, second-hand clothes and food
  • Stables Market - mainly second-hand clothes and furniture

Other small markets and stalls can be found throughout Camden town centre. Even if you don't come here to buy something, the atmosphere in Camden is quite different from the rest of London.
