- Krabi Town Walking Street - From Monday to Friday, this market comes alive with visitors from far and wide. You can sample delicious food, shop for souvenirs, and the market often includes various art performances.
- Krabi Night Market - A large evening market that opens in the afternoon and closes a little earlier each day. You'll mainly find stalls selling a variety of food.
- Chao Fah Night Market - A smaller night market where you can eat well, it is open every day in the evening on the riverbank.
What to see in Krabi town?
If you decide to spend one day of your trip right in Krabi Town, you won't regret it. It may not have white beaches, but there are still a few places to visit:
- The Mangrove Trail - A wooden footbridge among the coastal vegetation from which you can observe many interesting animals.
- Wat Kaew Korawaram - A Buddhist temple in the centre of town, reached by a staircase decorated with snake statues.
- Khao Khanap Nam Cave - A short river cruise from the city will take you to this interesting cave, which is surrounded by many monkeys.

Transportation to Krabi Town
Krabi is reasonably well connected to a number of destinations in Thailand by public transport. You can get here by the following methods:

- By plane - Krabi KBVAirport - direct flights from Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but also several international flights (for example Kuala Lumpur or Dubai)
- By boat - small longtail boats often sail to Railay and small islands in the vicinity, a large ferry will take you to Koh Phi Phi or Phuket, for example
The bus station is located on the northern edge of the city and to the centre (location on google.com/maps) can be reached by local open buses called songthaew (approx. 30 thb) or Grab (approx. 150 thb).
