The group of three traditional windmills is one of the popular attractions on the island of Corvo.

The windmills are very accessible to tourists as they are located directly opposite the airport terminal and only about 3 minutes walk from the harbour or 5 minutes from the centre of Vila do Corvo.

The windmills of Corvo Island were built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and three of them have been beautifully restored and preserved.

Two of the windmills have been plastered with white paint, while the third remains with the appearance of rough stone.
