A small narrow bay with an even smaller beach, Mgarr ix-Xini is a romantic place for lovers of beautiful nature and authentic local places with a minimum of tourists. It is located between the towns of Xewkija and Ghajnsiel.
Mgarr ix-Xini will especially excite lovers of swimming, where the bay will provide ample space for longer stretches while the sea is always calm. At the same time, there are perfect conditions for relaxed snorkelling.
The beach itself is very small, rocky, but you will find a small snack stand or toilets.
How to get there
The bay of Mgarr ix-Xini is accessible by a narrow asphalt road, at the end of which you will find a free parking lot.
It can be busy in the summer season, in which case you can park anywhere along the road.
There are no buses to Mgarr ix-Xini.
