The partially covered street is very busy and very touristy, but extremely popular for its many local souvenir shops, where you can easily spend over an hour shopping.
Omotesando Street is also where you'll find most of the restaurants with the local specialty of grilled oysters. We describe more about eating out in Miyajima in the Activities chapter.
