If you're heading straight to the district for shopping, it's a good idea to consider that money is the last thing on your mind.

In Quadrilatero d'Oro della Moda you'll come across just about every world-famous brand, many of which started their business in Milan. Admire the products of brands such as Prada, Versace, Dolce e Gabbana, Armani, Tiffany, Bulgari, Chanel and many many more.

Which streets to head to?

The central street of this neighbourhood is Via Montenapoleone, which connects the Montenapoleone (yellow line M3) and San Babila (red line M1) metro stations. This is probably where you'll find most of the boutiques, shops and showrooms, head here to see these brands for example:

The second main shopping street is the busy Corso Venezia, which runs from Piazza Babila north to the Porta Venezia gate and station. On this street you will find, for example, shops of the following brands:

The third main shopping street is Via Pietro Verri, which, after crossing with Via Montenapoleone, continues on as Via Sant'Andrea. This connects Piazza Filippo Meda, near the famous Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, with the Senate Palace. In particular, the Verri part of the street is known for several luxury watch shops. In these streets you will find shops of the following brands, for example:

However, many lesser-known but high-quality and upmarket shops can be found in virtually all the side streets such as Via Borgospesso, Via della Spiga, Via Santo Spirito or the busy Via Alessandro Manzoni, where Armani and its several brands are housed in a large building.

If your goal in Milan is really all about shopping, then stay at one of the hotels right in the Quadrilatero della Moda. If you shop here, you probably won't have to deal with the higher hotel prices, which start at 257 eur per night.
