Gerakini is a quieter resort with beautiful clean beaches that are not extremely crowded and are extremely family friendly. In fact, the whole of Gerakini is child-friendly, whether it's the playgrounds, safe access to the sea or the absence of wild night-time discos.

It's worth bearing in mind that Gerakini has no real centre and services are very limited. On the main street you will find only a few tavernas, one small supermarket and that's it.

Beaches and swimming

Directly in Gerakini you will find two equally sized beaches of about half a kilometre each with fine golden sand, calm waters and plenty of space. The entrance to the water is gradual and mostly sandy. Gerkakini beaches are very quiet and a stay here is really relaxing.

Of course, you can take advantage of the sun lounger hire and water sports facilities, as well as the restaurants and tavernas along the main street about 30 metres from the beach.
